What is the Mustang Recovery Challenge?

The Mustang Recovery Challenge, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is a transformative program that pairs individuals in recovery with wild mustangs, where they learn how to partner with them and begin a journey of healing. This process parallels their own recovery journey, fostering emotional regulation, stress management, and resilience essential for long-term sobriety.

Teams of participants will train mustangs at two different locations - Idaho Falls & Rupert, Idaho. Then participants will compete in a horse show and compete against each other, invite friends/community and be eligible for prizes or a buckle.
